Washing a car sounds like something that can be plain and simple for everyone. But yet, many people make the same mistakes that may damage their cars.
Here are some tips and things you shouldn’t do when washing your car.
DO NOT USE DISH SOAP
Many people think dish washing soap can be used to clean their vehicle, but in fact, It will basically damage your clear coat due to tis strong chemicals contain in dish soap. In the long run you won’t have your precious clear coat to protect your paint from debris , chemicals etc.
So never ever use dish soap to wash your car , it is for dirty dishes. There are lots of alternative products available in department store that you can get, which I will address on another article.
DO NOT USE A BRUSH
Some car wash station provides you with a brush, however if you want long lasting coating on your car, you may want to avoid this one. Use the brush for cleaning wheels and rims only.
DO NOT USE HOT WATER
You don’t want to use hot water because some parts of your vehicle may be affected by high temperature, such as plastic parts. Use cold water or room temperature water instead.
